What the analyzer checks
The analyzer checks roster completeness, shared type weaknesses, resistant switch-ins and offensive type coverage. It shows at most three priority issues and suggests additions or replacements only when they improve the same structural score. Abilities, speed control and the current competitive metagame are not included in that score.

Frequently asked questions
What does the score mean?
It is a 0–100 structural score for roster completeness, shared weaknesses, switch-ins and attack coverage. It does not estimate win rate or validate a competitive ruleset.
Why is my rating provisional?
The rating is provisional if the team has fewer than six members or too few damaging moves. Add members and edit their moves to provide more information.
What do the colors mean?
Red 2× and 4× cells show weaknesses, green ½ and ¼ show resistance, and blue 0 means immunity. The Weak column counts members weak to each attacking type.
Can I import and export Showdown teams?
Yes. Import a standard Pokémon Showdown export with moves, items, abilities, Tera types and EVs. Exported sets keep English names so Showdown can read them, regardless of the interface language.
Will language switching change my team?
No. Language switching keeps your current team and set details. Saved teams remain in this browser, and shared links preserve the team’s data.
Which data does this editor use?
This editor uses the Generation 9 species and type snapshot. For game-specific Pokémon availability and historical type charts, use the game planner.
Showdown names remain in English in exports. Display names use available official translations. Form names without a matching translation keep their original label.
