How does the random Pokémon generator work?
Pick how many Pokémon you want (1–6), optionally filter by generation, region or type, then hit Generate. It draws from all 1025 Pokémon and never repeats one within a roll. Every roll is driven by a seed, so the same seed and filters always rebuild the exact same team.
Can I generate a random team for a Nuzlocke or challenge run?
Yes — set the count to 6 (or filter to the generation you’re playing), turn on “No legendaries” and “Fully-evolved only” for a fair challenge run, then roll. Lock the slots you like, reroll the rest, and send the team to the builder to see its type weaknesses before you commit.
What is the seed and how do I share a roll?
Each roll has a short seed shown above the results. Copy it to share your exact team, or paste a seed into the Load box to rebuild it. The same seed with the same filters and count always produces the same Pokémon — great for running the identical challenge as a friend.
How does locking slots work?
Click the lock icon on any result to pin that Pokémon. The next Generate rerolls only the unlocked slots, so you can keep your favourites and shuffle the rest until the team feels right.
Can it roll shiny Pokémon?
Flip the Shiny toggle and every result shows its shiny sprite — handy for shiny-living-dex goals or just for fun.
