How to beat Scizor
Scizor has one weakness — Fire — but it’s 4×, so almost any Fire move OHKOs. Its threat is Technician Bullet Punch: +1 priority Steel that cleans frail teams, so don’t plan to chip-then-priority it yourself. Fire-types that also resist Bullet Punch (Fire/Steel, Fire/Bug) wall it completely. No Fire? A burn halves its physical Attack, and its low Speed means faster attackers strike first.

What is Scizor weak to?
As a Bug/Steel-type, Scizor takes super-effective damage from Fire. Pair it with teammates that resist those types — the team builder starts you off with Scizor and flags the rest of your team’s shared weaknesses as you go.
Scizor FAQ
What is Scizor weak to?
Only one type: Fire — but at 4× damage. Bug/Steel otherwise resists ten types, so a Fire move is by far the most reliable way to beat it.
How do you beat a Bullet Punch Scizor?
Use a Fire-type that resists Steel (Fire/Steel or Fire/Bug) so Bullet Punch does nothing while your Fire STAB OHKOs, or burn it to gut its Attack.
